What is the difference between an OTF knife and a traditional folding knife?

How do I maintain and clean my sliding double-action OTF knife?
OTF knives have an internal track system that can accumulate pocket lint, dirt, and debris over time, especially during outdoor use. For maintenance, we recommend using compressed air to blow out debris from the blade opening and occasionally applying a small amount of light lubricant (such as gun oil or silicone spray) to the blade and internal mechanism. This ensures smooth sliding action and long-term reliability. Avoid disassembling the knife unless you are experienced, as the internal mechanism is complex.
